Design submission at SheepStop

Hey Designers! You can use this forum to discuss anything related to design submission at SheepStop. Dunno how to start-off with design submissions? Or maybe you need a little help with the template? Or you have some tips to share about Corel or Illustrator. Do post your questions here and respond to questions posted by others for the benefit of the entire SheepStop Designer community! We want your designs to be the best in the world!!

@dalton27 you can send us the design file anytime( just mention your design title and screenname in the subject) and we will keep it on file!

@dcube ok thanks for the reply......... ive uploaded the main design and thumbnail throught the design submission .....when do i send u the vector file..and wat should i name it as...?..

@dalton27 if the vector file is larger than 500Kb you can e-mail it to us at admin[AT]sheepstop.com and just upload the main design and thumbnail through the design submission form. Let me know if you are still having issues.

my ai file is about 2 MB....and i cant submit it... plzz tell me how to save it to <500 kb in svg or ai format

@dineswori : thanks for your photoshop template suggestion. It is now updated and color selection for the tees is made easier

@swap SVG is perfectly good for us, in fact we will add that format in the acceptable formats under the Submit Designs section. I know that Inkscape can open .ai files (so you can open our template), you need to install a filter to open .cdr file, dunno if it can save in any of these formats tough. But as I said, an SVG is perfectly fine for us.

when u say 'Original vector graphics file in Corel 11.0 / Photoshop format' can i submit a SVG file (vector file but not a cdr or psd) instead? as SVG is a open std, unlike cdr and psd (proprietary formats), i'll be able to use any open source graphics editor (like Inkscape which is very popular) and work on my graphics? i'm not sure whether i can save files in cdr and psd using Inkscape.

@sadya currently we accept submissions only in vector graphics format. However you are not restricted only to Using Corel/Illustrator. You are free to use any vector graphics software of your choice. For eg. Inkscape is an open source vector graphics editor which is compatible with our Adobe Illustrator submission template. So feel free to download Inkscape and use it to produce excellent quality vector art.
